Smile Nice To Be Here

Hello everyone. I have been playing guitar for about 4 months now and I am really hoping to learn more. So far I have learned a good 20 or more intros to famous songs just off of tabs and a good 4 or 5 system of a down songs, only because they are my favorite band ever. I came on to this site hoping to learn more about playing solos and songwriting. So far I have come up with a good 3 or 4 choruses and 2 good verses to songs. (Just the instrumental part). So it will be nice getting to know all of you.

Catch ya later,
Brian

Well Alex, I actually do like those bands, so far I am learning the beginning of nothing else matters. Such a great song and it is nice for beginners to start with. I also like the song One by Metallica. That is an easier intro for a song if you haven't learned it yet. Well, I'll be talking with you all later.

Well, I have learnt Hypnotize off the new album, the intros to Violent Pornography, 36, Ariels, the main chorus to I-e-a-e-a-i-o and the little catchy part of Sugar. Not to many but enough to satisfy me. I have also learned the beginning of Trashed and Scattered by Avenged Sevenfold. They also are a good band.

Glad to hear you guys having fun.

I played the songs I learned like instrumentals since I'm just a bedroom jammer by myself and I can't sing. Lots of time I play the riffs and improvise on them. They won't sound like the cds that you buy though. lol

Sounds pretty cool. Yeah I'm from a pretty small town so at the moment I'm looking to find some people to jam with and hopefully start a band and do some gigging around the area. Like you RockaBilly I just play by myself. But one of my friends is looking into getting a bass from one of his sister's friends so that we can play together. Nice to meet you all though.

Getting to jam with people is great. I used to have a band in the 60s playing surf music and it was fun. I have a few friends to jam with but our musical tastes kinda clash. Gets interesting though.

Thats alright, just keep up the practice and you'll be there in no time. The way I did it when I started was just by looking at tabs and playing them. I really wish I came here sooner but I still kind of learned off of the guitar tabs. Nice to meet you anyway.
