Greetings from the Hudson Valley
Hi Everyone - Just taking a moment to introduce myself. I'm new to the forum having just come across it for the first time recently. Apart from my interest in guitar playing, I'm also an amateur guitar builder having completed my first guitar and now planning a second. I'm looking forward to getting to know the folks here and hope to contribute in a positive way.
Best regards,
Robert

Guitar building is always something I've admired. Hopefully at some point years from now I can build my own custom guitar
If you learn how to play songs, then you learn songs. If you learn how to improvise, then you learn music.

Greetings back at ya, from Southern California, USA, I'm not very good on my geography so don't know where the Hudson Valley is.
What a great feeling of accomplishment it must be to actually build a guitar.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
