My proper introduction

Hi all
I joined this amazing site a while back but have'nt really participated in the forum (until now)
Firstly a massive thanks to Kirk & Clancy for running what must be the best twangers website on the planet.
I have been playing guitar for a while now and only just realised how little I know and how my technique needs to improve.
This site has certainly helped.

As well as guitar I also play keyboard and am just producing my first attempt at a home recorded CD using a Korg X2 keyboard my various guitars and a computer in my spare bedroom.
All the material is self written (music & lyrics)

I will post a link for you to have a listen for yourselves once completed

Enough babbling
Look forward to your comments
Thanks
Craigie-C

Don't hold your breath too long
I am fast realising that years of experience can also stand for years of not stretching yourself enough to play really well.

Welcome Craigie-C,

... which so reminded me of Craigie-dhu by Dougie MacLean.

As I quote you above, I concur.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
