Just started playing guitar.

Yup. Hi.
Lets see. I've been leaning for about two months now and I registered here almost a month ago, yet this makes my first post.
I can play a few on the simple songs on the main page, but I still haven't gotten good wth chord switching. I know them, it takes a second to switch, but that'll just take practice to master.
Google "burswood esteban tv", first link for a review of my guitar.
Apparently it's a piece of crap, but not so much as to hold me back, yet. I'm pretty sure a barre chord is impossible on it, especially after trying a barre on a friends and almost doing it the first time. Hey, if I can do it on this piece of junk...
I really want to buy a decent electric setup. Nothing great, just something I can learn how to play on.

I bought a Esteban guitar also. I used to play 35 yrs ago and decided to get back in it.
I sanded down the bridge untill the gap at the 12th fret was about 3/32 clearance and put on some martin marque strings. It made a world of difference. I can play it now.
I got these pointers from postings on this site which is a really great guitar site!!
I've really learned a lot here, thanks to everyone.
