There's a good place then ... learn E and A. Then learn G, C, D. They are the so called open chords.
Then group them into:
A - D - E
G - C - D
Each of those represent the I-IV-V chords of their respective keys. I-IV-V chords are the basis of just about every piece of music ever written, even if sometimes heavily disguised or hidden away amongst other stuff.

The other thing to grok is that all of those chords are
major which means they all have the same flavor, even if they look different.
