Yo!
Hi there
My name is Alluka. I just bought my guitar yesterday. I've been playing the piano and flute for so long and I thought of playing another new instrument. My friend thought me a few chords already. So I hope this community will help me to learn more about the guitar.
Thanks

Hai, thanks a lot guys ^^
I've been reading some lessons around here yesterday and its really helpful. But I need help about the tuner. I don't know how to use it. (The explanation about the "Tuning Your Guitar" is kinda confusing to me T_T)

I like the YO, and also the name alluka.
I would suggest you get yourself a tunner, mine only cost $14.00 on sale, and it takes all of the guess work out of tuning.
I'll let someone else explain the "Tuning Your Guitar" to you, I know how to do it but I'm not very good at explaining things on a computer keyboard.
Glad to have you aboard, have fun.

There is another simple way to tune right here on your computer, at the top of this page just below the site name is a strip of white, with different things you can click on, the second one from the far right is On Line Tuner, click on that and then scroll down and you will find a picture of all of the strings, when you click on any string the proper tone will sound, I just found it for the first time last night, it's super neat.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
