hey all ^_^

just started guitar and i really really want to rock ^_^

the real story is more complicated. when i was 7 i got an acoustic guitar and learnt it for the next 5 years. then i gave up cos i never practiced. and now i suddenly got really into the heavy guitar #### like metallica, pantera etc. etc. so i picked up my brothers electric guitar and learnt the riff to 7 nation army

dont yak on that that requires practice. i know. what i need at the moment is some easy songs to get me started ^_^

so far i know how to play the main riff in 7 nation army-the white stripes, girl you really got me now-van halen i think :S , the titanic theme (dont ask why. long story)

my gear : an electric guitar (5 strings. bottom e is missing) Gio Ibanez. looks a bit like the gibson vegas

an acoustic guitar (no strings, another long story)

my guitar has a lot of nobs and twiddly stuff on it and i dont know what it does lol.

hope to be rockin real soon

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
