Hi, I'm new here,
I started playing when I was 14, and am now 34. I'm self taught.
I am currently trying to teach my son guitar, but finding it difficult without knowledge of theory. I don't know that I would do it any differently, but It would be nice to explain to him why some things work and why others don't. I came here in the hopes I could find some simple ways of teaching him, and myself the basics of theory, so that I might be able to pass on to him what I've learned.
