Tony
Hi, My name is Tony and I'm 39 married with one child. He is 18 and also trying to learn to play. I'm not sure he will have the patience to stick with it, but I hope he will while he is at a youthful age. I had always wanted to learn but didn't have the discipline, but if I'm gonna learn then now is the time. I think that playing music is a good way to express yourself and to relax , so I'm gonna give it a shot. I hope to be playing well one day...

Hi Tony
Good luck in your new venture. I too am only a beginner on here, but I am also pretty excited about learning. I hear my husband playing all the time (he's a professional musician) and I yearn to be able to play like him. He's very encouraging, but I have a streak in me that doesn't like people helping me (must get that from my mother!!) so I'm trying to learn on my own. Not sure if that's the right thing, or the wrong thing, but time will tell.
All the best to you and hope to hear some good news about how you are going soon.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
