I played the drums for 15 years , had kids , sold the kit to gain garage space and now thought time in life was right to get a guitar..hopefully teach the kids too in a month or so.... OUCH my fingers- -only learnt 3 chords, I hope it does get better or i'll have to get my drums back..mmm mybe i'll finally be a musician( and not just a drummer who hangs around with them,,lol, ) Any way hello to all and thankyou for this site.

Hi Judge. It gets easier. Give it some time. It will take a couple of months at least for the fingers to toughen up.

Hi Judge,
I also used to play the drums but was never any good. In fact I probably only knew the drumming equivalent of three chords. I'm glad I switched to guitar and I hope you will be too.
