hi there ! could use some help

i just bought myself a yamaha pacifia 112 electric guitar ...
now i know how to read tabs and mostly play by them..
i'm looking to improve my speed and shifting fingers is difficult for me !
pros plzzz help !

I got a KCC electric guitar but generally I use Ernie Ball's Regular sliky strings and also Encore's classical strings, I heard they are very good but to me it doesn't seem any different from ordinary guitar strings.


Expert at computer games!
Noob at electric guitar lol!

Try the Capo Lane lesson in Kirks Lessons. It teaches finger independence and makes a great warm up. Start playing it slowly and build up your speed.

ummm.. i'm a lil confused ... when they say capo the 2nd fret and the tab reads 4th open... is it really 4th from the neck of the guitar ( ignoring the capo) or 4th from the capo ? also if it reads 2 ... should i play a open key ?
