Hello from England!

Hello,

My names Dan, Im from the UK!

I decided I needed a hobbie, I had always been a fan of 80's metal so I bought a beginers electric guitar set of ebuyer for a whopping £49.99 to see how i get on. If i enjoy it then maby a year or two down the line i would like to get a floyd rose equiped guitar.

My main goal is to learn how to shred, i know its not popular but its for my own intrest.

I need to get some effects and then i should be able to start!

(still waiting for the next day deleivery two days later!)

Cheers.

Dan the main problem with buying a cheaper guitar is that they usually need to be setup, ie action lowered ,bridge adjustment, etc to make them easier to play so i'd advise you getting that done before you pursue your musical career

if you bought your guitar from a "guitar shop" they may set it up for free but if not it may cost around £25

I would have bought it from a guitar shop but the same sets were £150, and like all sales places there on commision so they were trying to get me to shell out £300 for a first guitar. Im not saying that the £300 guitar wouldnt be fantastic but for somthing that i might not get on with its a big comitment.
