Thank you all for the feedback. Interesting idea johnny! I checked that out but they only accept tunes registered with BMI so I joined that organization and will start making moves to learn about placement and submitting material. I think in the next year or so I'll have enough skills to put some decent quality together.

Just remastered the track and the link should be updated. I found that the volume was nowhere near standards for db levels. Took me a bit to learn how to master to this level but I now have something to use a reference for future work.

Found the problem. It was the pad as I suspected. The link has the new mix with some additional work. I probably spend 4 times the time mixing and fiddling with things than actually composing and playing. But it is a fun challenge.

I couldn't help but notice some hiss - I'm guessing from the Strat track, are you struggling to get a decent recording level?
It should be possible to remove a lot of the hiss with accurate cropping and some noise removal/gating.
What's your setup? - it would be good to get this sorted for future recordings.
