New recording... it might be incomplete. SoundCloud link has a free download.
Thinking about writing a part for a female and I know someone who can sing it.
Anyway, let me know what you think. Constructive criticism appreciated.

Original recording - "Boxed Culture"
31 March 2013 - 07:07 PM
This was recorded entirely on my Ipad using Studio XL. It's more or less a one off. Simple singer/songwriter stuff. Meant to be humorous. I was lucky enough to have it played on a couple of internet radio shows--which was cool. I never expected anything like that. It's a free download, and I encourage feedback, comments, criticism. I record under the moniker, Weak Soul Patch.

Original Recording - "The Paper Chase"
31 March 2013 - 07:04 PM
It's been awhile since I've posted to this board. That's a shame because I could use your feedback. I've been messing with writing and recording music for a little over a year. This tune represents one that I've written, revised, re-recorded. I actually need to re-record this again, because the bass is panned to the left ear and I accidentally deleted the project file. You get the idea though. Most complete recording to date in terms of multi-tracking. I go by the moniker "Weak Soul Patch" on SoundCloud.

Original Recording - "Fat"
31 March 2013 - 06:59 PM
This song is based off Raymond Carver's short story, "Fat." Recorded on my Tascam digital 4 track. Available on my SoundCloud page as a free download. Feel free to leave feedback, criticism, suggestions, whatever you like. Warning, it's a bit odd.

Original Recording - "Corked"
31 March 2013 - 06:56 PM
“Corked” was written following the death of Jason Molina. I was pretty sad when I found out about it, and wrote the song within an hour of learning about his passing. Unlike the character in this song, I’ve learned the Molina tried several times to get sober. Unfortunately, he damaged himself beyond repair. He was such a brilliant songwriter.
My vocals and Martin D15m were recorded using a pair of condenser mics run through a PreSonus Audiobox. Mixed in Garageband. It's on my SoundCloud page and free to download. Thanks for looking. Be as critical as you like. I am still new at writing and recording material. It's demo quality. I am hoping to get some friends for a proper recording.
