Read alot, write a little, sing in a praise band and am crazy about my daughter (12). Was an actor for 30 years or so, and hope I get on the boards again one day.
i can't remember the model that i have, but i like it alot. samick probably makes 75% of the stuff that comes in from off-shore. they are rebranded under every manufacturer under the sun. i have had mine 2 or 3 years. good guitar. i bought it online off of ebay if i remember correctly. you're right, though, they are rarely advertised. i had a baby grand keyboard by them that was great too.
