I think the reason you are using the amp is for the sound effect like reverb that you get out of it? I can add reverb to your vocal after you sing into the regular mic. Please remember that everything can be mixed in recording as long as each track is separate. As to the lyrics, you write them any way you feel is right. The scrolling animation was so I can remember the lyrics.
