Hi everyone
I'm probably the Grandaddy of this site. 61 years of age and not touched a guitar since I was 14 until a few months ago. Found your fantastic site and dug an ancient guitar out of the shed which belonged to one of the kids years ago, it's got a fretboard shaped like a boomerang and strings like rusty fencing wire but I'm having a great time learning.
My fingers seem to have a mind of their own at the moment, (hence my username) but I'm improving.

allthumbs is right, there's quite a few older than you here Tangles... in fact this is more like the mid-life crisis forum... I would say the majority of our members are over 40... So you should fit in perfectly!

Welcome tangles. What's with this grandaddy stuff then? If I put the brakes on today, it'll still take you years to catch up with me.

I sincerely hope you are not right Clancy, or it means I've got to hang on until I'm 140.
