Open G Tuning

Okay so yesterday I discovered a new tuning. (new to me anyway lol) A guy I work with told me I should try open g tuning. So I googled how to tune my guitar to it and discovered that it is more of a slide guitar tuning . But I like it .... I just have to figure it out. I don't have a slide so I've been killing my fingers sliding bare up and down lol. So anyway here is just a little bit I kinda hashed out and recorded this morning. It is as usually pretty rough but also as usual it's just an idea.

Thanks Micky and Mike. I really think that tuning has a cool sound to it....now if i can just figure out how to play it!

the rolling stones keith played a lot of open g tunning jumping jack flash, honkey tonk women etc you can get some cool sounds out of it

Thats pretty good. Like the tone. Your playing clean, that's great.
