Thanks Paul
I have been using impulse responses from guitar cabinets in my convolution reverb - I am really enjoying what they bring to the tone.
And the guitar was my G&L ASAT Classic - which is a fantastic guitar for these sorts of things.
oh Carol ........just like the media....editing peoples words for shock value.....lol
there was a space between these two lines, to seperate a direct comment from a general one.....
and what i mean about this BT is that you don't have to keep it rolling along while playing to it, you can drop in and out and leave lots of space without it sounding empty......makes improvising a lot easier.....
Don't worry Paul, I knew what you meant - those are the only sort of bt's I'd even consider - I'm a big fan of 'less is more', even when others are doing the solos. I can't relate to those speed merchants who play a zillion notes a second just because they can. And a break can be as effective as a riff.
One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain - Bob Marley

too true it's what you don't play that counts......i appreciate good technique.....but yeah all that speed for speed sake even when it's painful to listen to......megadeth do the heavy and fast stuff well tho
i appreciate this guy with almost the same name as me...lol
best vid of this performance i could find, audio here had some noise for me.....turned down a bit it's ok tho
