very simple recording studio

I just use a laptop and audacity and messager type mic (under $5) that's it

Very inexpensive setup. I'd prefer a laptop of my bulky desktop. Here's my setup

In all less that $250 which is perfect for me and does all i need to do at a pro level.

I really need to get a midi controller. Something small and cheap.
