Now this is what I call a slide amp. I am loving the dirty tones.

I'm building the D'Lite kit ... the Voxy kit is only $550 and a bit simpler to build. They also have an 18W TMB version, as well. These guys have a good reputation, as well.
Catch this clip ... the guy on the left is Moss who owns Brown note ... the guy in the middle is playing a Voxy model.

Liking that. Let me know how the build goes. I have bookmarked the site for my wish list.

Ha. Small world. I used to hang with the builder on another couple of forums I belong to. He used to go by the handle Normster. I had no idea he got into amps. I guess that is why he dropped out of sight. Busy man. Kirk probably remembers him too. A real nice guy and a good player .

Yep Normster is a mainstay in the Brown Note forum & they're both Normster & Moss are at the Dumble website ... The Amp Garage.
Anyway, they both appear to know their way around the amp build world.
Normster has actually put some step-by-step instructions together that helped me decide I could do this. We'll see how it turns out. I plan on taking pictures all along the way of the experience.

I was hoping that you would post pics of your progress here. Cool.

Normster produced this package ... you have to poke around in here a bit as there's some duplication of pix and stuff. But this detail of the D'Lite I'm building convinced me that I could build the amp.
