    2005 Ovation Adamas W597 CVT

    This my 2nd favorite guitar. Right behind the Martin. And...it's also the reason I own so many Ovations. The sound of this guitar had me hooked in the first 5 minutes. I called the bank and bought it. Hand-crafted guitars are the most wonderful creations. I've had it 8 years and it plays as good as the day I bought it. Of course you don't have to wait years for carbon-fiber to open up. This thing sounded great out of the gate and it always will.

    Is it a carbon fiber like the Rainsong?

    Yes it is. You wouldn't believe the sound. Lots of bass and high-end it's really balanced.

    I love the low-z output. We played through a huge PA and it rocked. I didn't use an amp. ran it straight to the board and used the monitor to hear it. I think I'll buy a 15" powered monitor for an amp.
