I see a lot of German references, I can't see if you are - but, having said that, Wilkommen! I am originally from Namibia (guys must Google if they don't know where), now in South Africa. Namibia used to be Suedwest Afrika - as in Deutsch Suedwest Afrika, so we all have a smattering of German.
All of no consequence - I hope you will enjoy the site. Oh yes - glad you have given it up, well done
My name is Hakeem Prongs. I'm 25 and I'm Ugandan.
I've always loved music, especially rock and indie folk ever since I was introduced to it. I recently decided to start playing the guitar and maybe another instrument later on. The biggest challenge I face is that I'm a lefty and so far it has proved impossible to find a lefty guitar in Uganda. I want to play the electric guitar and I'd like to get one on a modest budget. Any advice or idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Well I practice nearly 2 hours almost every week night. Some nights it might be only an hour though. I have a lot of free time after work once Ive had dinner so whilst the Tv is on in the background Im usually practicing. At this stage Im just learning to play songs from Riffstation and other Youtube videos. Once I master some chord changes and have it down pat then I might look at learning scales etc.
