what kind of finish is that? i like it.
The top is "capped" with a veneer of "Mappa Burl" which is basically a the wood from the knot in a Poplar tree in Europe. Burls can be natural or induced (barb wire on a tree 10 years after).
When Parker put the PM-20 into production they ordered 300 "Limited Edition" Models with a Mappa Burl finish. 100 in Natural, like mine, 100 with a "Tangerine" finish, and 100 with a Wine (Red) finish. The rest had a Bubinga capp and a natural finish, or painted Black or White.
