VST plugin effects
hey everybody,
I finally got Kristal Audio up and running and I've downloaded some really cool effects. The only this is, I can't find a classical guitar plugin, and I've been searching everywhere. I've found an acoustic guitar sound plugin, but i really would like a nice classical guitar sounding plugins. Does anybody know any free classical guitar plugins that I can download?
Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for effects to use with a classical guitar or do you want to make your electric sound like a classical guitar? I'm assuming you want to make your electric sound like a classical guitar, in which case I have never heard of any like that.
BTW, which acoustic plugin are you using?

Thanks for replying Tekker,
You're right. I'm looking for a classical guitar sounding plugin to use with my electric guitar. You asked what acoustic plugin I am using, well it's the SpitFish plugin (I think). It has an acoustic setting built into it.
But please if anybody finds a classical guitar sounding plugin that I can use to make my electric guitar sound like a classical guitar, PLEASE let me know.
Thanks

Spitfish is a "de-esser", which means that it takes those nasty "S's" and high-pitched things in a recording and reduces the volume of them. The Acoustic setting you are talking about is just a pre-made control setting that works well with Acoustic guitar tracks.
I also would like to find a plug-in that would make an electric sound like an Acoustic, it would be great for demos!

Hmmm. If you want to sound like a classical guitar, I'd say that you should use a classical guitar. Another way would be to use a midi pickup and classical guitar samples.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
