Who would have thought...!!!

The wife and I where out shopping today and stopped at Radio Shack. (electronics mini
mart)
I purchased a lapel mic, one of those little microphones you clip on to your shirt or
jacket for public speaking... Because I got an idea...!!!

I usually use a big Sure mic to record my acoustic and nylon guitars... Problem is
ambient noise, and proper positioning of the darn thing...

So, I thought... I wonder what this would sound like clipped to the sound hole of a
guitar...!!!
It was only $24 US, so I bought it...

I couldn't believe the sound quality I got from this thing...!!!

For a sample of what it sounds like, listen to this: nocat...? Fingerpickin'...? No way...!!!

I recorded this using my nylon plugged directly in to the soundcard... no effects...!!!

If you are looking for an alternative to amp-up your acoustic, you might want to try
this...!!!

Cheers

So you had it clipped right to the sound hole?!? & it didn't get in the way? Cool! Sounds better than a lot of recordings I have heard here!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
