velocity splits and VSTi's

Hey guys
i am attemtping to wade my way through using VSTi's, specifically Yellow Tools Majestic and DFH Superior. I am doing well with DFH, but Majestic is not something I am having as much luck with. The interface is easy enough, but there is a certain amount of assumed knowledge that I do not possess.
If anyone is able to help me with a few things, such as velocity splits and other settings, I would be very grateful.

I'm not familiar wtih Majesitc. What is it? I have (and love) DHF Superior.

Majestic is a bass vst.

Is one of the best places I can think of for you, Plenty of all round expertise, along with a massive database of plugins as well.
