Vocal recording problem - progress

Thanks to everyone who helped on the original thread. I've made some progress, both with recording the vocals and with the song itself. I don't like the song, but I'm determined to finish it as it has many different elements to it. I added some drum fills, I used six different VSTis, there are at least six voices, I had a go at harmonies on guitar, and of course there is a lot of silliness with the vocals. I think that the use of compression was a great idea, I also added a fair bit of reverb for the 'sometimes' bit to separate it from the verse.
Is there a way to normalize the vocals in reaper? I'm sure I saw it, but I can't find it.
Anyway, thanks for listening, and any further hints would be, as always, greatly appreciated.
Ian

Ian

In Reaper right click on the track > select item processing > choose normalize option.
You could try turning up the mic gain with a preamp, and record with a limiter/compression VST added and live monitored
