unfamiliar with terminology
HI, I'm busy making a dvd of my year in China to send home. I have three audio tracks,(the one from the videos, a song I recorded and a commentary) and I want to fade them in and out of each other as needed. I use Cool Edit Pro and Audacity, which I like very much, but can't seem to do this seemingly simple mixing task on either. I'm not sure that I have the correct terminology. I thought this was 'crossfading' but all the tutorials seem to refer to this as overlapping songs with a fade out-fade in effect. Could anyone take the time to explain if this is possible, and how to do it?
Thanks, merry xmas,
Ian
