How do I wire a split for my LP

does anyone know where to find some good, easily read wiring schematics for a Les Paul? I'm splitting each pickup with a DPDT pot.

Have a look at this site. He's mainly into Fender's but if you look a bit further down the list of 'projects', you'll see LP and other stuff too.

Good luck.

While I don't find it to be the easiest site to navigate, http://www.guitarnuts.com/index.php
is good for wiring. Also try www.seymourduncan.com

Here's one or two more for wiring that I thought looked good:
http://www.stewmac.com/wiring101/index.hzml
http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/c...uncandiagrams/

And one for general repair;
http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/E...nicsRepair.htm

UGB may be able to rate the actual contents (I don't have enough experience to do so).

I'm staying away from all of 'em 'cos I get terribly tempted to try a 'Fat Strat.' job on my faithful old Fernandes ......

the stewmac link is good stuff and the 3rd link is good too. The 2nd link would take you to seymour duncans' site but the links are broken, so just go ahead and go to the site.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
