Stringing A Floyd Rose???

I Need some serious help!!! I screwed up stringing the floyd rose i've got and the bridge is now aainst the body. I have no money so i can't take it to someone and i don't know how to fix the issue my self. So does anyone know how to re-string a floyd rose that has no strings on it and were the bridge is resting against the body???

try this,
YouTube - FLOATING TREM String Change w/ Steve Brand..

Sounds like you haven't broken anything. You just have the worst floyd restring scenario. No strings. Just follow the vid. It will take a lot of time I"m afraid. It gets easier with practice.

Yes, those things are alot of trouble.

You might want to wedge the bridge if your'e going to remove all 6 strings at once. And don't have them off for too long, its not good for the neck.

Fav bands for now: In Flames, Arch Enemy, Slayer, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, DragonForce, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Michael Angelo Batio, Dream Theater, Metallica, Wintersun, Static X, Megadeth, Pantera, Nightwish, Shadows Fall

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
