I just purchased this guitar as my first and while learning I noticed that the bridge has a wierd look to it at the second string ,it almost looks like there is a step in it at one point. I just thought I would ask for some help with this question before I took it back/. any help would be great thanks guys.

That's normal, it's for intonation purposes.

You would be surprised the number of times new players will realign the saddles into a perfect row, thinking the bridge is out of whack. Glad you asked first.
