ibanez GSA60 goes out of tune

Hi all!

I got the ibanez GSA60 really really cheap and it looks decent (it's my first electric) but there is a problem with going out of tune. Is there anything I could do to keep it in tune longer?

Okie.

First thing to do is change the crappy strings it comes with. Some people have trouble with the Wilkinson trem. One solution is to lock it down. Another is to put on heavier strings and add another spring to make it more stable. Take it to a tech to make sure the trem is set up right. Here are some reviews for it.

Its what happens when you don't have a Floyd Rose. Or Edge. Just be careful with the trem. And remember, all trems will detune evne a slight bit. Even a "real Mccoy" floyd will. Its the nature of it.

Have been researching Ibanez, (I want a 3/4 size Mikro) and it seems like some of their cheapest models, including the Mikro, have really crappy tuning machines that won't stay in tune. I am wondering if Grovers will fit an Ibanez? Will I have to drill out holes?

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
