What can I do?

Jammin' Jamindian here,

First off; Hi All . It's been a while since I posted. I been havin' a bit to do. I have an Acoustic Guitar (About circa 1982-1987 Ovation Balladeer with the "Bowl Back"). It has a split at the back of the Bridge, just past the Sound Hole. The guitar still sounds good for thhe classic it is (One of the last guitars made in New Hartford Conn.) Yet I was wonderin' if anyone had an idea on how I may be able to fix it my self maybe? I don't know the first thing about guitar repair. lol but will try it. Thank you in advance for your help.

  Thanx

Thanks Thumbs,

That was very infomative and just what I needed. Thanks for the warm welcome back also all. Now I will try and get something recorded and put on here for you all's opinions. Please be advised, I am not a pro guitar player, heck I can't even read music! lol I have what some may call a "Gift". Anyway I will try to get something done on my Ovation Breadwinner or Deacon, not sure which it is. lol
Will get it posted soon as I can get some decent equipment to record it on and hopefully that will be in a few days. Until.....

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
