First is it possible and second would it even be worth it?
I'd like to know if this could be fixed or what kind of job it would be to replace. It's a Fender FJ-70. Have a look at the pics. It's been that way for a while after I loaned it out to a friend who needed it for a gig.
He never did tell me exactly what happened but needless to say, I wasn't all too happy about it lol. But, it still sounds great and stays tuned so it's only cosmetic as far as I'm concerned. Kinda gives it a little personality like Willie Nelson's gitter lol.
I'm saving up to get a decent electric and amp anyways so if this job would cost more then $100 I'd rather just play it til it falls apart and maybe use that as an excuse to get a new one
She sounds real sweet for her price range that's for sure!

Hard to tell on the first picture, is it missing any pieces? if not your local shop can probably re-glue it up or recommend a luthier who can.
after another look, is that damage in "two" different spots?

Here's a better pic. Yeah it's missing a little chunk but only maybe half an inch or so. About the same width as the measuring tape (almost a half inch wide) from it's deepest point.
Yeah I know I need to clean it before ya'll say anything lol. It's only in one place.

My opinion... if its not a "treasured" guitar, and it plays and sounds good, learn one or two of those Willie songs, and put your money into your new one. Something like that kind of damage would probably out cost the guitars worth to have fixed...again just my opinion.

That's just what I wanted to hear! Now I have an excuse to get a new one (even though she still sounds sweet I just want a second one for alternate tuning purposes lol).

I've got an old classical guitar that I lent to a friend for about 8 years, it has been around a bit and has seen better days but it still keeps in tune and plays well so I keep it around, as yours still plays well and sounds good it's always worth having around and it can keep your new one company.

I say it gives it a unique character and if it plays well who cares. However any excuse to treat yourself to new guitar cannot be bad

You should keep it - not so very bad.
But also keep it so if that 'friend' of yours comes around asking to borrow your new guitar, hand this one to him and say "Here, I think you should finish destroying this one before you start on something new, wouldn't you say?"
Lol.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
