Good looking Ax they designed .
I went on a google search and found that Tommy Shaw from STYX got one and played it on stage in August , he loved it !
I hope the classic comes out in different flavors as I am not much into white , and for $1299.00 its not way over priced .

Seen that
$1299.00 Classic
$1799.00 Standard
$2299.00 Custom
I found 2 places that have them 4 sale , as Taylor is going to let a small amount out November 28th , before the January 2008 release .

They look great, very Les Paul like in the looks department. I have just seen a interveiw with Mr Taylor himself and he stated that he was not interested in electrics until his R&D showed him a pickup they created he then said "We are in the electric guitar business".

I might have a look at these in January

Probably not. But they play really great for the money.

For the money... They better play AMAZING for $1300. You can get some amazing guitars for much less than that. For that much, I'd rather have a Framus Diablo Custom. =)

That's weird. I thought I was answering a thread about a Baby Taylor, not this new electric Taylor! Anyway, I like Taylor quality, but you're right. I'm not sold on the looks.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
