  fellow newcomer

hi there

ive seen both these guitars in the shops and in my opinion both are great guitars but like everything it all depends what you want to spend where you will be using it etc if like me its just for the house, parties, family get togethers etc i would go for the cheaper option and spend some on an good strings and effects pedel etc cheap isnt always nasty ive just got myself a kcc strat from the internet(ebuyer.com) it came with spare strings picks pitch pipe gig bag and 10 amp practice amp brand new and delivered the naxt day it sounds absolutley brilliant £55 gbp the lot ,when plugged into my zoom g1 effects pedal (£40gbp) it sounds amazing so for less than £100 ifeel that i have got a starter outfit thats just as good if not better than some of the more expesive named brand on the shelves dont know if any of that is any use to you ...........

I can't even find any legacies on U.K. ebay , google or review sites. Squires are popular because they are the lowest priced guitar with the Fender name on them. The squire and the legacy, I imagine, have the same quality control problems and cheap hardware. If the legacy is considered of lower quality then a squire, don't go near it. You can get ok squires if your lucky. It is a starter guitar which most players will upgrade from in a year or 3.

  depends who says

hi mate

ithink it depends who you talk or listen to the guy in my local guitar shop showed me everything in my budget £150 max kcc squire legacy jim deacon yamaha and he prefered the squre to the more expensive yamaha and legacy models i supose if you want it to gig with you should buy the best in your budget but i liked the kcc and the fact that i could get it online cheaper left me with cash for effects pedal made sense to me ... what kind of music will you be playing this can make a big part of the decision to buy.

Ah. It's a SQUIRE Legacy. The best bang for the buck is a Squire51, the worst is a squire bullet if that is any help.
