Fender JG-26SCE opinions?

Hi everyone,
I've been using crap guitars every time I've attempted learning. I've decided to get a decent electric acoustic guitar and take weekly lessons. I've got a crap guitar that I purchased on Ebay about a year ago and I want to replace it with something good.
I checked out the guitar buying guide on the forum and am now looking at a Fender JG-26SCE. I'm paranoid about spending too much money on something that may not be worth it.
The mini-jumbo body fits me nicely. It looks nice. I've ready many reviews online, some good and effusive and some bad.
I'm looking for something that will be easy on my fingers and easy to learn on.
Does anyone here have any experience with this guitar?
I will be taking my first lesson tomorrow and will be trying several guitars.
Any opinions? I've not seen it reviewed here.

Help me! I'm tone deaf!!

I have the Fender GA-43sce and that is a great guitar for the money, I think they share the same fishman pick up and that must one of the best in price range on the market.

It is not exactly a true beginners guitar (my ga series) but if you have been playing for a year then I doubt you would have any problems. The tone from my GA is worth thousands but yet was under €1000 and has stood up well to the test of time like falling over and being left out on the beach in the rain for a night and still sounds better every day.

I've checked out other reviews on the GA and others have said that it's guitar that would be difficult for a beginner to play. I don't have one year of experience. My first lesson is tomorrow. The last time I'd attempted learning guitar was in 1987 and I can't even remember how many lessons that I had.
The JG looks like it may be more of my type of guitar. Sounds like the neck may be a bit wider on the GA and the body of the guitar is larger as well.
I'll see if they've got one at the store when I go in for my lesson tomorrow.
