Anybody Fancy a Bargain??
Ok, well it's not a bargain and I am 99.9% that it is NOT even genuine but if anybody has a spare six million dollars it's a snip. Robert Johnson's guitar is for sale

By the way, it's not a wind up
Cheers

For Six Million I think I would like just a little more proof than it "looks" like the picture from an album cover, DNA testing from the team on CSI at least

Yeah the 'proof' was a little dodgy.
I also think it is a big claim to state that it is the greatest musical artifact of the 20th Century.

I just hope whoever buys it is a guitarist themselves and doesn't poke it away never to be used. A guitar is made to be played!

Though it would be a little disconcerting to see your Six Million dollar purchase slide off the end of the couch where you left it to retrieve another beer from the fridge

Why couldn't you have posted this a week earlier. My wife has just spent £169 on a 12 string for my xmas box. Well I guess I was just too eager to get hold of a top end guitar.
In a couple of years of me owning and playing it, it will be worth £170.
I suppose P-Diddy or Snoop dog will buy it. or some other well trodden respected musician.
Damn it. That's me being impatient.
Now when I talk to God he said he'd understand, Stick by me I'll be your guiding hand. But don't ask me what I think of you. I might not give the answer you want me to.

I'm pretty skeptical because they don't mention how they got it, who had it before, where it's been, etc. Geez it's like they found it at a garage sale and matched it up to some photos or something. I think I'll save my six mill, or maybe I'll buy six one-million-dollar guitars.

Pretty nifty if it's legit- I also wanted to hear more on all the travels the guitar has taken, as mentioned. Regardless if it is THE actual guitar or not, it is a pretty cool vintage piece. I don't know if it's $6,000,000 cool, though...

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
