Bridge Pin Innovation???
I was doing a search on bridge pins and material, and came across a set called "Hot Rods," which are supposed to be the next generation bridge pins. Has anyone ever tried them or heard pf them?

A few good reviews, but by the sounds of it, make sure they are available to suit your guitar

I have not heard of these, but it is worth noting that bridge pins are only part of the equation. Construction techniques, material used, choice of strings, picks and most importantly the player's fingers, all contribute to the final sound.
I don't think they would make a huge difference to tone, but it may give you the results you seek - only way to know for sure is to try them.

I've thought about switching out my bridge pins- as much to see if they make one lick of difference in tone as to get some that look cool- I think I might go with black with pearl inlay on the button.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
