If your haunted by Taylor Guitars then R.Taylors guitars will absolutely petrify you.
I was told they only make around 500 or so a year (not sure of the accuracy of that statement)
Because of the lower production numbers there are only 3 stores in Canada that they will supply to right now. I've tried one, I want one, I was afraid to look at the price tag.

Is there a drooling smiley? I have only played around with one Taylor guitar, but it was the sweetest sounding - easiest playing thing I've ever seen.....and it was mass produced in a factory! Unfortunately...at least for now...financially out of my reach.

Whoa- that is some workmanship right there! I checked the dealer listings and I have one about an hour from my house. Might have to swing on over and see if they have one to try out.

From my understanding, the production methods that Bob Taylor and co. have developed allow for greater consistency and quality control than traditional methods.

Ever tried an R. Dean Taylor? They're very popular in Indiana apparently.

Pretty cool looking guitars. But hauntingly like Taylors, except for the headstock. And what gives with all of this access to Taylor wood stock and other inside info?

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
