  Hope for the $250 guitar!

Just a fyi for fellow twangers in the same boat... While searching internet for new guitar & prices I came across a review for mine that suggested a few minor improvements would yield a potentially big difference and dang if it didn't work! A new bone saddle, level frets and a lower action have made a $250 guitar sounds like a $400 - $600 ( at least in my ears!). $90 for the improvements done by the local guitar tech... Guitar is a Epi SPR-350S.

You can make any cheap-o sound good with modifications.

Guitar: 1) Behringer Stratocaster; Webstrings Memphis Electric Xlight strings; Dunlop Picks

2) Ibanez TCY-10 Talman Series; Elixir Light strings.

yeah, I would love to be able to modify mine... but mine is a $140 and to me, it wouldn't be worth it to put any money into it. and I would be better off waiting till I could buy a better guitar

Life is like a box of chocolates, it\'s good but it ends quick, especially if you\'re fat! :)
