Vintage Acoustic Guitar V300

Hi all,
I was thinking about purchasing a "vintage acoustic guitar V300" after reading some really good reviews about it. My question that i put to you, the experts, is will it fill my needs? I enjoy playing kirk's fingerstyle lesson's (if only i was a tenth as good as he then i'd be a happy happy man) and was wondering if this kind of guitar is going to be the sort of thing i should be looking at to improve my skills.
Let me know what you think.

Whippy

I don't know what to tell you. I have no personal experience with them. By the reviews, they sound bright so you aren't going to get down and dirty blues out of them. I guess it depends on your taste in what you want to play.

I'm currently playing a nylon string guitar, which i have to say i'm not totally happy with, and was just wondering if the steel string guitar would hinder me in playing fluid fingerstyle pieces like the one's in kirk's lessons.

Shouldn't be a problem. Most of the folks here play steel. If your primarily interested in finger picking then you can have the guitar set up for lower than average action. That will affect your ability to stum cleanly though. The average set up is a happy medium between the two so it is not imperative to lower the strings if you have a decent set up in the first place.
