Breedlove Guitars

Anyone have any inputs on this guitar?

Breedlove Atlas Series AC25/SR Plus Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Looking to upgrade my Ovation CC026 (I love this Guitar thru the amp)

Played above guitar at Guitar Center, sounded and felt excellent.

I never played an Atlas model. The US made ones I've played were very nice.

I've only played one, a few years ago, but I've never heard anything but GOOD things about these guitars. They seem to be very hot.

The low-end Atlas AC200 was nothing special. The AC25 was definitely a step up - fuller tone, comfortable neck, felt great for fingerstyle. Probably comparable to the lower-end Taylors, maybe better. However, my favorite in that price range was a Blueridge 000 model - see if you can play one. Great value.

Also played the little Breedlove "Passport" travel guitar - it's cute, but very limited tonally and actually difficult to fret if you have average-size or larger fingers.

Hi, I bought an AC20/SR a month ago. I love it. Solid Spruce top, solid rosewood back, great looking abalone binding. To me, it sounded better than the same price Martin's, which didn't have solid backs, but what do I know. I'm just a beginner. You do get an Awesome hardcase with the Breedloves. Fits the guitar like a glove, and is one of the nicest cases I've seen. For me, it was one of those "best bang for the buck" guitars.

These Breedlove guitars are awesome! They have a great sound. I just cant justify the $1000 bucks on one.
