My 9 year old son is interested in taking lessons and learning to play the bass guitar. I have absolutely no idea where to start in regards to what to buy. In case he gives it up I don't want to put to much money into it, but don't want a piece of junk also. What does anyone suggest?

It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
