ESP guitar advice

Ok so I really like the look of the ESP EX series guitar and F series so I was wondering if anyone knew if these guitars produce a good sound. I will likely be getting the cheapest version possible of these guitars...

Those are some axe's!

The F series looks like a stealth bomber and the other looks like comic book explosion!

To answer your question I have no idea btw

I assume your talking about the F-50. The reviews seem to say that you will need to change the pick ups. It looks like a metal guitar but, doesn't sound like one.

The EX50 seems to be a pure metal guitar so if that is what your looking for in tone then this one is best for you. Downside is you are not going to have a lot of tonal choices with this guitar. Read the reviews,

They probably weren't playing the cheapest models. Consider the 50s are in the 300 buck range and the top of the line are around a thousand or so not including any extra custom work.

You'd really have to feel comfortable in spandex to play that at a gig.

Yeah you guys got it right, I am looking for a metal guitar. I saw the guy from U2 playing the f-series one so i'm guessing it's not that metal of a sound. I would probably get the AX series but I don't think it would be comfortable for me to play if you know what I mean. I guess the EX is what I want then. Thanks everyone. I'll probably be getting it sometime next year though. I have to save up my money. My cheap fender start sunburst ripoff will do for now.
