Sound Blaster Audigy-4 - Please Help !!!
Hi Friends
Finally I have bought a Sound-Card, its Sound Blaster Audigy-4. I'm having a bit of problems with it though , kindly help me
I tried to Plug my Acoustic-Guitar on which a cable can be connected (is it called Electro-Acoustic ?) I connected the Guitar into the Line-In of the Sound-Card (Lite-Blue Color Hole), but the Signal is way too low and I'm not able to hear or record anything. Is there a defect with the Sound-Card ? I'm worried because the signal was strong enough to be heard loud when I used my On-Board Sound-Card. Now this one is far-far better than that, Is'nt it ???
Do I have to use any thing to amplify the Signal, even when connecting the Guitar directly to the Sound-Card. Or is there a prob with the Card itself.
Kindly Help me Friends, I desperately need some advice.
Thanks and Regards
Kush

Just guessing Kush .... did the card come with any software? You may need to go to the Creative site and download the latest drivers. If you have already installed support software for the card it may be 'overiding' your Windows settings. You may need to disable (in device manager) your on-board sound chip but I wouldn't rush to do that. It's probably something simple but sometimes configuring sound cards can be a real pain, Have a look here. (From support > knowledge base)

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
