How much money do you want to spend Imabeginner, you'll need to include an amp and accessories in your budget

Gibbie LP's aren't cheap. Shop wisely.

If you're after a Les Paul I'd strongly consider Agile. I currently own an AL-3000, every time I take it to guitar center or anywhere like that people are blown away by both the looks and sound of it. And 450-500 bucks is a lot easier to stomach than over a grand But honestly, if you just started playing, I'd keep at the acoustic at least 4-6months before investing in another guitar just to be sure it's your thing. It's your money (or your parents or whatever heh) though so do what will make you happy

Im with allthumbs on this one. Shop wisely. There are different models of LP's. Try them all first.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
