Any of you tweaked the factory presets? I only tweaked the "rectified" setting and I called it "moshfest". Anyone got any idea how to download other setttings?

Get a midi connection to your computer and use Genedit software. Tweaking presets is much easier and productive using the software.

I didn't but my teacher did for me, eight of them. It's a great thing to have a teacher that uses the GNX, I get practice tracks and stuff.

P.S. I got the M Audio USB to MIDI connector and it works great. Just in case you don't have MIDI on your sound card.

GNX3
the midi side is on the GNX, the USB is the computer. Should work for any midi instrument.

Lot's of good info here on the GNX...
Guitar Workstation® :: Index
I did have problems using an E-MU USB midi on my GNX3. It caused a lot of USB injected noise while the Genedit app was running. It worked fine on my GNX2. However the noise could have been picked up by my Fender Pro Jr, and may have had nothing to do with the GNX3. I never bothered to check it out because I had a sound card based midi hookup as well.
I can't stress how much easier it is to use the genedit software vs. manual tweaking of the controls. It's very complicated to get a great tone. One reason is that the cabinet models seem to need a lot of adjustment or the sound seems dull and muted. The software makes it a breeze.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
