Larrivee Electric (woohoo!)

I just found out that Larrivee is getting back into the electric market. I have a Larrivee L-05 acoustic and it's amazing. Their new electric (the RS-4) looks absolutely beautiful. Pricey, though; MSRP of $3200, which means you can probably find it new for $2500ish. I've been on the lookout for an electric for quite some time. I was thinking about getting a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, but after seeing this Larrivee. Wow. Would like to play it first, but there's only one Larrivee dealer in my city.

Gonna wait for some reviews & such... and for me to actually have money. I wish it came in a 24 fret version with a trem bridge, though.

Check it out

This is my favorite part:

Aw, no two guitars are exactly the same. Sorta like snowflakes or something.

There is no question in my mind that Larrivee makes great guitars. I have a D09 acoustic and an 8o's LS3 electric model. Both are top notch guitars. At $3200list/$2200 street though, I would suggest playing one before committing to it. Who knows, you may be able to get more for less, although you can be assured that all materials will be TOP NOTCH and of the highest quality or Jean would not have put his name on it. Also, would the guitar suit your playing style? Keeping in mind of course that there are NO RULES, ie. a GRETSCH can play blues/jazz but so can a Tele.
Hope this helps.
